8D 7N Taiwan "Touch Your Heart" Tour - DAY 3DAY 3: September 5 i can onli say tt the breakfast buffet served in Hualien Parkview Hotel was one of the BEST i had ever eaten in TW... =D There's still some time be4 we are required to meet up w the rest of the pple in the grp... So, we went back to our room to catch a bit of slzzp... Onli till then, then i realise tt the scenary out of my room window was FABULOUS!! ![]() *Feel like slzzping beside the mountains... Hehes... The lst stop todae was to get to the restaurant tt we will be having our lunch... O_O Yea... U didnt read wrongly, we werent going for any sight-seeing at any tourist attractions BUT to get to the restaurant for lunch!! Was on the bus from 8AM-11:30AM... Hahas... Almost everybody was slzzping and dozing off rather than listening to the local guide... =D My aunt, my cousin and i were chit-chatting at the back-seats of the bus... Hahas... This was the point whereby we discussed about the local guide - Raymond... The 3 of us tink tt he reali SUX... How can pple still let him be a tour guide?? WTH!! He wasnt professional at all??!! Ever since the lst day, he like kept telling us about his history, his qualifications, his philosophies, the famous pple tt he knows, his compliments from the past grps he had be4, his great knowledge on chinese culture and poems, how much money he had spent to learn this and tt and MOST IMPTLY, HOW FORTUNATE WE WERE TO HAVE HIM AS OUR GUIDE!! WTFH!! He covered almost everything about himself BUT HE MENTIONED NOTHING ABOUT TW!! -_-''' Finally reached the restaurant!! Now, another problem arises... The food SUX... Be it the normal food or the vegetarian food, both SUX like HELL... When its supposed to be salty, it tasted sweet, or TASTELESS... And the thing i dont understand is tt they call themselves, "Really Good Taste Restaurant"??!! EWWWWWW~~ ![]() *Dont they look 'appetizing'?? -_- ![]() *Scenary opposite the restaurant was nice though... BUT we are still surrounded by mountains... After lunch, off we go on the roads again... This time round, we will be going to Kaohsiung via the Nam Hui National Road. Unlike the fair weather previously, it started to rain... Sianz... However, its cooling to take a nap on the bus lah... Hehes... Juz hack care tt Raymond who was ranting and ranting thru the mic by listening to our mp3... OH YA!! Tt stooooopid local guide juz pissed me off during lunch... He tinks he was funny BUT he didnt tink be4 he speak... Who gave him the RIGHT to comment about ME?? F*** ![]() *Going pass the semi-rural area in TW... ![]() *Entering the Manufacturing area of TW - Kaohsiung ![]() *One of the railway stations in TW Cijin Island: 10-15 minutes ferry ride to the island. On the island, cycle rickshaws can be RENTED to go ard at your own expense. You can also choose to stop and rest at the former British Consulate - a popular stop for drinking coffee while taking in the views of Kaohsiung's harbour. ![]() *Tt's the name of the ferry we had taken to get to the island... One of its slogan is called 'The Glory of Kaohsiung'... *Laughs* ![]() *Nice feeling of the wind at your face after such long hours in the tour bus Nothing much to do at the island, we were juz walking along the streets... Most of the other members of our grp bought grilled squid at the roadside stalls... Its not tt the queue was long BUT time was needed to prepare the food lah... They were merely late by 10-15mins ONLI??!! Tt idiot local guide - Raymond was already complaining... WTH!! He is juz a TOTAL TWO-FACE GUY lah... When he was 'chit-chatting' w us on the bus, he SAID tt our grp were reali on-time and ahead of the schedule... And now, he was complaining to another person tt we were late and VERY behind schedule??!! Took the ferry back and headed to the highest building in Kaohsiung... 85 Building: Once Taiwan's highest building. The elevator will whisk you to the 75th deck in juz 43 seconds (600 feet/min), close to the world record speeds. You can view the city sight and horizon-defining mountains. ![]() *Nicely-designed ticket to the view deck at the 74th floor ![]() *Wah... Houses, houses and HOUSES!! ![]() *Attractive view of the sunset at another side of the building Seriously speaking, i m not reali excited about the 85 Building... i m more looking forward to the views at Taipei 101... Hehes... Went for dinner at a Chinese restaurant... Hahas... Its obvious tt everybody in the grp were hungry, VERY hungry... Everybody finished eating dinner within 20 mins... Hahas... The guides and driver's food havent even being served yet... =) Of coz lah, todae's lunch sux, remember?? *laughs* Love River + Hobby Mannbo: The 12 km river is one of Kaohsiung's most popular tourist destination. It's a beautiful and restful scence w different flower blossom in 4 seasons. After 20 minutes ferry ride, stop at Hobby Mannbo, a convenient place to enjoy a drink while admiring the surroundings. OMG!! Another ferry ride in a day?? Not sick of it ah?? The place is juz like another Boat Quay lah... PLUS, i dont see any flowers there!! ![]() Checked in into tonite's hotel, dump all our luggage in our rooms and we headed off to the nearby night market on our own... ![]() *Bought this dessert thingy in a convenience stall. Its a mixture of blended ice and ice cream... Cool huh... ![]() *Guess wats this... Hahas... Lift level indicator!! 22:29 > こずえ |
