8D 7N Taiwan "Touch Your Heart" Tour - DAY 5DAY 5: September 7 Yingko Ceramics Street: Famous place for producing ceramic in TW. Didnt reali slzzp well last nite... Was watching tv till 3AM... Therefore, slzpt on the bus again... Hahas... Not juz me lor, everybody was soooo slzzpy and almost fell aslzzp while the local guide was toking... As we werent giving him any response, he 'kindly' let us slzzp... Wahahas...   *Tink we went to the place tooo early in the morning... Onli a few shops were open... Stuff Bought:  *FINALLY found the teacup i wanted!! Yeah!! Aboriginal Local Product: Place to purchase Red Ling Zhi, local honey-related stuff etc. Boring place... Its like attending class on Ling Zhi and stuff... Sianz... Yehliu Geopark: See the natural rock formations - an amazing array of artisitic shapes created by erosion and other natural forces. At lst, i m not sure where we were going as the local guide didnt reali say the name of the attraction clearly... i onli managed to capture the word 'park'... Then he kept ranting and ranting about some stones in shapes of dolphin tail, lady's high heels, mushroom, elephant etc... O_O When he came back w the tickets, he was telling us tt the walking trip will be long so luckily we had lunch lst be4 coming... Blah Blah Blah...      *Nice scenery huh... i didnt bother to take the rocks of the shapes mentioned above... Hahas... Pple were all crowding ard the rocks to have their pics taken... And these pple couldnt see tt i m trying to take the rocks w/o any human beings!! In the end, i deleted those pics... Wahahahahahas...  *An addition to the weird-shaped rock collection in the park... Hahas... Huge Cigarette stick!! =D  *The exit door gives me a feeling tt i had juz escaped from jail... Hmmmm... After going out of the park, there was a long row of stalls. Pple are to walk by tt way to get to the carpark... Hahas... Wat a clever way to get tourists to buy things from the stalls huh...  *Ice-cream machine along the way out... Hahas... i wont eat it even if u treat me ah... It's oldies and looks kind of DIRTY!! *laughs* Yangmingshan TienLai Hotspring: Exclusive Arrangement! Yangmingshan is renowned for its wealth of unusual volcanic features and outstanding natural beauty. TW's famous Deluxe class 'Yangmingshan TienLai' hotspring occupies an area of 20,000m. It consists of hot and cold outdoor hotspring and spa health centre, making it the largest in TW. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while you relax in the hotspring. What an enjoyment! (Bleh!!) My whole family of 6 person didnt went for the dip... Together w another 8 more pple from our grp, we made our way to the hotspring's cafe to wait... Hahas... i tink the lady at the counter was a bit shocked when 14 of us walked into the cafe... At lst, i dont understand why she was soooo shocked... Hahas.... It's becoz she couldnt handle sooo many pple at once... *laughs* True enough, the mochaccino i ordered took more than 15 minutes to get to our table...  *Nice and cozy-decorated cafe...    *Aunt Susan's coffee cheese cake, my mochaccino and mum's ginger juice soda... San Keng Tofu Street: Both sides of the streets are lined w stores selling the famous San Keng Tofu (aka Smelly Tofu... Wahahahas...)  *As its almost dinner so didnt get to eat the smelly tofus there... Hmmmmm... Stuff Bought:  *Bought this from one of the handicrafts shops... Actually i couldnt make up my mind... The lst time my cousin and i walked pass the shop, i didnt buy it as i m still considering. So, we continued to walk dwn the street and i FINALLY decided to get it when we walk back later... However, we missed tt shop during the 2nd time... Luckily, there's still enough time, so we walked dwn the street for the 3rd time in search for the shop... Hsienmenting: A popular place to try tasty local snacks and shopping for local handicrafts, clothes and toys. OMG!! WE FINALLY REACHED TAIPEI!! YEAH!! NO MORE MOUNTAINS, NO MORE WINDING EXPRESSWAYS!! IT'S SHOPPING, SHOPPING AND SHOPPING!! Even though its raining, its still great to be able to see the whole roll of shops selling clothes, accessories and stuff!! Hehehes... One good pt about raining is tt locals tend to stay at home when it rains, making it easier for us to shop... Hehes...  *How can we miss the famous Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle Store!! Checked into tonite's hotel - Yeso e-hotel... Another pathetic hotel BUT BUT BUT its still better than the one we went to last nite... The hotel is pathetic in a sense tt it onli occupies 2 levels of the whole 12-storey building... PS: The lift onli stops at 11th storey... So, those pple whose rooms were at the 12th level, had to carry their heavy luggages up the spiral staircase on THEIR OWN!! Hahas... i tink tt's the onli bad thing of the hotel ba... Becoz the rooms were perfectly fine and great... =) After putting our luggages, my cousin and i went to the shopping area a few streets away from the hotel to shop whereas the rest stayed in the room. Walked via the underpass to save the trouble of crossing roads... Wah!! The underpass was soooooo EMPTY!! Hmmmm... Luckily, there were 2 of us, if not i will not dare to walk on my own... Hehes...   *Saw 3 weird dogs in front of Giordano... Each of them were biting a corner of a T-shirt and none of them wanted to let go. So, they ended up turning and turning in circles...
