8D 7N Taiwan "Touch Your Heart" Tour - DAY 7DAY 7: September 9 Good morning!! Finally no need to wake up at 5-6am to get ready, have breakfast, meet up w the guide etc!! Hahas... Its our FREE day todae!! However, we still cant wake up too late if not we will miss the hotel's breakfast session... Breakfast served at the 5-star Grand Hyatt was the BEST EVER!! Checked out of our rooms be4 heading off to Wufenpu in cabbies... Got to know about this place thru a TW variety show... Its an area filled w stores selling wholesale fashion items, be it clothes, accessories, shoes blah blah... Oh juz in case u dont noe, the driver's seat in TW is on the left side, so the passenger seat in front is on the right, unlike in Singapore... Got a chance to sit in front... Hahas... i NEVER sit on the front right side be4!! =P i actually felt dizzy!! Wahahas...  Once again, we went too early and onli a few stores were opened... Walked ard for 45 mins and hopped on another cab... The taxi driver was v nice and sociable... He thought we were locals and started chit-chatting w us about the protest thingy tt will be beginning in the afternoon... He was asking us to go join in the event!! Hahas... He was saying tt how come we werent in red and stuff... We told him tt we werent locals and he said, "nvm lah, come and take a look lah, the more pple the merrier, then the event will be successful"... O_O Taipei 101 Shopping Mall: Enjoy your shopping in the world's tallest building.   *The lst pic was nicely taken huh... Credits to my cousin - Benjamin, he actually sat on the pavements to help me take this shot!! =) The interior of the building juz look like the shopping malls along Orchard Road... Nvm, tts not the main focus of the building eh... Hahas...   *Tickets Please!!     *There are 2 different designs to the ticket yea... **Stamp obtained after security check be4 being allowed to enter the lift!! ***Onli 46 seconds needed to 'shoot' up from level 5 to level 89!! ****Cert awarded by the Guinness World Records for the speed of the elevators 101 Scenery Galore:         Dajie!! These are the pics i promised u... The straight-down view by the window of 89th floor of Taipei 101!!   High enough huh... The second pic was caught by accident... Hahas... i admit, my hands almost shook and release my camera yea... Luckily it was ALMOST lah... *laughs*  *At lst i dont noe wats this... My aunt told me later tt it was something tt holds up the framework of the building... The 'skeleton' of the building??!! =D  *Visitors were given this thing upon reaching the 89th level... it will introduce to u Taipei 101 building and some popular places u can see from 101 etc...  *Dont noe why, i like this logo!! Hahas... Stuff Bought:      *4 seasons series of Taipei 101 and also the 'peak of the building' postcards...  *Mini Taipei 101!! Oh!! This is my favourite!! Available in 7 colours - Colours of the Rainbow!! Had lunch at the basement foodcourt in 101 Building... i ate Fo Tiao Qiang yea!! Hahas... How nice... i reali get to try a lot of 'different' food in TW!! EXTREMELY INTERESTING o...  After lunch, we walked back to Grand Hyatt (which is in walking distance) to meet up w our grp... There were a number of passageways connecting to nearby buildings surrounding the 101 like other shopping malls, hotels, carpark...  *New York New York Shopping Centre!!  *Another shopping mall in the area, selling LV!! Da-dajie's favourite brand!! Hahas... Boarded the bus again and headed to check into the hotel we stayed the day be4 - Yeso e-Hotel... This time round, we wont tt lucky as we got our rooms on the 12th level, so we had to drag our lugguages up the spiral staircase... Hmmmm... Managed to pass-by the Taipei Railway Station on the bus... Tt's like somewhere near to the protest area and we saw this...  *Wahhhh... Nv seen soooo many motorbikes be4 yea... Stayed in the hotel for ard an hour be4 my cousin and i went to HsienMenting... Hahas... FOR the THIRD time!! However, this time round, we went there on train!! =) So funny huh... We went there 3 times via 3 different travel modes...     *Its one of my desire for this TW trip to ride on their train!! *laughs* In Singapore, pple were to try to stand by the left side of the escalator rite... So juz now, when we stepped onto the escalator in the train station, we kept to the left... AND AND AND, we were the ONLI 2 pple tt were the ODD ONES OUT!! Hahas... Pple were looking at us and we still didnt noe wat we had done wrong... Until we reached the exit, then i saw a sign saying, "Any person tt obstructs the left lane of the escalator will be fined NTD$1500 EACH." O_O Luckily, nobody 'caught' us!! Hahas... Wat a 'nice' weather huh to shop in huh... Rain and rain and rain!! But its not going to dampen our shopping spirit and we shopped for more than 3 hours... Its a good thing tt onli the 2 of us went, if not, we will be chased back to the hotel when it starts to rain... Hmmmm... Sometimes its not a good thing to travel w adults eh... Stuff Bought:  *Bag!! V BIG BAG!! Went back to the hotel at 19:30... Aunt Susan ordered food from the hotel's room service as we were too lazy to go out for dinner... Watched tv all night long!! =)  *Not bad eh...
