Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008Date: 28 June 2008 Time: 11AM-6PM Venue: Suntec Convention Hall 603 Participants: Kozue and Sabuna *WARNING: IMAGE HEAVY*    *ToyCon Graffiti Wall ***ToyCon Advertisement Poster feat. Old Master Q The convention began at 11AM yesterday. Sis and i also arrived at Suntec ard tt time... O_O Heads, heads, heads and MORE HEADS!!!! The whole of level 6 is FILLED w HEADS!! Even if the both of us had already pre-registered for the event, we still couldnt find the right queue to get our tickets and stuff!! The registration process is kinda slow.. Eventually, the organisers got frustrated and announced tt we can juz walk into the hall w/o registering (besides its free admission).. WTH!! i tink even the organisers didnt expect so many pple to go to their convention since this is the first ToyCon in Singapore.. However, i wont get cheated by tt!! i want the piece of paper known as 'passport' to collect freebies lah!! Wall "O" Characters       ******TV Interview in Process We finished walking ard the place by ard 13:00.. Since we had also collected all the passport stamps, Sis and i went to queue up at the Redemption Counter to collect our freebies!! XD The redemption session is @ 2PM so the queue was already DAMN long when we joined... XP    *Trying to entertain ourselves while waiting.. OH NO!! By the time the redemption session started, everybody started cutting queue and the whole place ard the counter was in chaos!! X_X Wahaha.. And lucky for us, we ended up standing very very near to the redemption counter becoz of all the chaos!! Freebie #1: Play Imaginative 2.5 Inch Mini TO-FU Blanks    *Luckily i didnt buy any.. Freebie #2: BANDAI Mobile Gundam Fortune Gundam  *The Box    *Sis's and my Fortune Gundam ***Pop out the Gundam's head and read ur fortune!!  *Slip of paper in the Box Walked out of the convention hall after collecting the 2PM freebies.. Need to get ourselves food, water and a seat!! LOL.. We walked all the way to Raffles City's MOS Burger for lunch.. We took pics on the way!!    *Escalator in the new underpass to Suntec **New Japanese Ice-cream shop in construction!! Shall visit it nx time!! ***Recycle bins @ Raffles City We ate, rested and planned our route @ MOS Burger until 15:30 and we headed back to the convention hall!! Walked ard for a while and decided to go queue up for the 5PM redemption session.. OMG!! This time round, the queue extended all the way out of the convention hall!! O_O Luckily a staff came to us and told us tt this time round, they will give out queue numbers to avoid the chaos tt happened previously...    *Self-entertainment again!! This time round the process really improved and the queue moved way faster than before!! XP Yoohoo~~ Freebies here we come!! Freebie #3: Passion Marketing Magister Negi Magi Negima Figumate Series 1 Trading Figures from Konami (Long Name. LOL..)  *The Box. Out of Asuna, Ku Fei, Konoka, Nodoka and Makie, which one will we get??    *Yeah!! i got Ku Fei!! Hahaha.. **Sis wanted Konoka but she got Nodoka instead.. =_= ***Ku Fei and Nodoka in PE attire..    *Ku Fei and Nodoka in School Uniform. ***"EHHHH!! Where are our BODIES??!!" Freebie #4: MINDstyle Buff Monster Mini Figure Ice Cream Flavorways Series II    *The Container **Coconut Ice-cream?? I thought its Vanilla.. I liked the Detective and Cap'n one actually!! Walked ard the convention hall for one last time to check out any other stuff we had missed and we left Suntec @ 6PM!! Headed to Bugis's Kinokuniya as i want to grab Vol.13 of Gakuen Alice and the remaining volumes of Special A.. Met Michelle and 'Zhen Guo Cheng' at there and chatted w them for a while.. LOL..  *Yeah!! Finally GA Vol.13!! Plus, SA Vol.6&7 and the newly released Ouran Vol. 12!! Took NEL back home and during the train trip, the 2 of us were tired but still very high as we were playing, joking and doing crazy stuff on the train.. X_X   *Sis playing w poppers tt wraps the Ice-cream figure.. OMG!! i took almost 2 hours to sort out all 250 photos tt we took!! And another 3 hours to edit, upload and post them!! =_= Nevertheless, the convention is a nice way to end my one and a quarter year holiday!! X3 14:26 > こずえ |
